Recently, a Ukrainian-Slovak business forum was held in Uzhgorod, which was attended by 150 Slovak and Ukrainian companies. The Ukrainian manufacturer of smart ventilation systems PRANA became an active participant in the discussion of strategic issues of cooperation between the two countries.
The representative of the PRANA company – deputy director Ivan Starosta took an active part in communication and exchange of experience with representatives of Ukrainian and Slovak businesses, discussed the prospects of cooperation in the field of ventilation and energy-saving technologies. After all, PRANA recuperators help to preserve up to 96% of heat and coolness in the room and significantly increase the energy efficiency of commercial and private buildings.
The Forum began with a plenary session with the participation of diplomatic missions, the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine, the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency, government officials, foreign companies, representatives of ministries and regional state administrations.
Olga Stefanishyna, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Mr. Karel Girman, Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic, Deputy Minister of Energy for European Integration Yaroslav Demchenkov and other participants of the forum spoke about the nearest prospects and opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
All speakers emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation between Ukraine and Slovakia. Among the key issues discussed by the participants and speakers are the economic recovery of Ukraine, the activation of Ukrainian-Slovak foreign trade and investments and cooperation in the field of energy.
Anna Lyubima, director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine, congratulated those present and thanked her Slovak colleagues for supporting Ukraine during the war.
One of the main results of the forum was the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine and the Slovak-Ukrainian Council for Cooperation and Development. Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine Valery Korol noted that the Ukrainian-Slovak partnership is reaching a new level of business interaction.
