As part of the first visit of British Foreign Secretary David Cameron, the minister held a private meeting with representatives of PRANA and several other leading Lviv companies.
During the meeting, the diplomat spoke about the prospects for future cooperation with Lviv companies in the context of investing in the reconstruction of Ukraine and outlined ways to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
In addition, as part of the visit, the diplomat met with the mayor of the city, Andriy Sadovyi, and the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi. He said that today the British Foreign Office will transfer Lviv region to the «yellow zone». This means that it will be much easier for potential investors from the UK, as well as the British who have business in our city, to obtain travel insurance for traveling to Lviv region.
Also, during the meeting with David Cameron and Martin Harris, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Ukraine, the parties discussed the prospects of developing Lviv industrial parks, finding solutions for opening an airport in Lviv, and raising the important issue of forming a veteran community.
We are sincerely grateful to David Cameron for the opportunity to take an active part in discussing key issues for our region and country.
We would like to thank the diplomat and the people of the United Kingdom for their continued support of Ukraine in the fight against the Russian aggressor!
