Turkish business is ready to invest in the reconstruction of Ukraine!

Today, the First Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Andriy Godyk discussed future cooperation with the Chairman of the TURKSID Business Association Ertan Bastuhan and representatives of Turkish business. The foreign party assured of its readiness to enter the Ukrainian market even during a full-scale war. Projects in the construction and food industries are in the greatest demand.

Potential Turkish investors were presented with the Lviv Region Export Catalog, which aims to increase the visibility and competitiveness of the region’s enterprises in international markets.

At the same time, the Turkish company Halil Trading (a member of the TURKSID association) announced that it plans to build a logistics center in Ukraine for the rapid delivery of goods. As an option, they are considering Lviv region. They are most interested in the production of building materials. The Budindustriya Association of Builders spoke about working with many international partners, including the German GIZ Foundation, to relocate companies to Lviv.

As a result of the meeting, the Lviv UBA will develop a list of existing and future projects that, according to the Turkish side’s requests, could be of interest to their businessmen.
