On May 20, 2026, PRANA had the opportunity to serve as a partner for the forum «City Development Strategy: Me, You, Society.» The event took place in the historic center of Lviv and brought together over 170 key industry players: city officials, architects, developers, experts, and business representatives.

As part of the event’s program, PRANA’s Executive Director Ivan Starosta served as a forum speaker and shared his expert perspective on the need to implement energy-efficient ventilation solutions in modern construction. Today, significant attention in the industry is focused on facade insulation, the installation of solar panels, and other solutions aimed at conserving energy and improving the energy efficiency of buildings. However, ventilation is often overlooked in this context, so during traditional ventilation through open windows, a significant portion of the retained heat or cool air is simply lost.

In his speech, Ivan Starosta spoke about PRANA heat recovery units as a modern and energy-efficient alternative that ensures constant air exchange in a room without significant heat loss, thereby improving the building’s energy efficiency.

During the panel discussions, participants had the opportunity to discuss issues related to the development of Ukrainian cities and transportation infrastructure, the problem of haphazard development, the preservation of architectural heritage, the inclusivity of urban spaces, and the creation of a comfortable environment for city residents.
