To protect the recuperator from frontal wind blowing, the user can choose a protective metal cover. Prana offers three options: a standard cover, a cover with a depth of 20 mm and a cover with a depth of 50 mm.

The size of the cover depends on the width of the wall in which the recuperator is installed.
The protective cover is made of high-quality stainless steel, so it does not oxidize or rust. Inside the cover there is a layer of sound-absorbing material that absorbs the unpleasant sounds of raindrops and other weather phenomena.

The metal protective cap is attached to the tail section of the recuperator with self-tapping screws before installation. The cover is mounted together with the recuperator from the inside of the room. The special shape of the protective cover allows the air flow to move without obstacles and does not affect the quality of the recuperator.

It is recommended to install the protective cover on objects located in the area of strong winds and on high floors.
